JUST IMAGINE - THE WORLDS ONLY BUSINESS INTERVIEW WITH ABBA'S MANAGER
Over 40 years ago ABBA created history. The song was perfect, Waterloo. However, the band came from a region unknown to the world of music. The band would have ended up as a local band, had it not been for the energy and visions of the business creator Stig "Stikkan" Anderson.
While everyone focused on rock'n'roll, disco music grew on the musical agenda. And Stig Anderson kept on promoting until the piracy industry fed the Australian continent, where the audience grew.
Stikkan says to DJ Skipper, a well-connected publicist: "... piracy actually helped the promotion of ABBA".
The interviews were presented in Sound International and Beat Instrument. Year 1982 Stikkan gave a final interview about business, which was presented in Music Management & International Promotion, reaching all recording studios, record companies, music media, etc., in the world.
The business interviews are now re-written and available on iTunes: Between Caviar and Champagne by DJ Skipper.
